    This Is Why We Freeze

Last Friday, Leanne, Bridget and Damien attended the FightMND Gala Lunch alongside some of our clients.

It was one of those afternoons that stay with you long after it ends.

There were powerful moments throughout the event. Amy Shark’s performance, Ben Cousins’ honest interview and Bec Daniher’s speech, which brought the room to a standstill.

Each moment was different, but together they carried the same message.

    This work matters.

Motor Neurone Disease continues to have a devastating impact on individuals, families and communities. Events like the FightMND Gala Lunch bring people together not only to raise vital funds but to remind us why action is so important.

They remind us that life is short, that time matters and that too often, more is said than done.

For NSG, supporting FightMND has never been about simply attending an event or making a donation. It is about standing behind a cause we genuinely believe in and using the opportunities we have to help make a difference.

We were grateful to share the afternoon with our clients, hear the stories behind the fight, and support the people who continue to drive research, care, and hope for families affected by MND.

It was an afternoon filled with emotion, perspective and purpose.

And a powerful reminder of why we freeze.

    Play on. 💙

This is: 🥶 We were thrilled to be part of the action at this year's Big Freeze 10 launch for FightMND at THE LUME. Through our engagements with Bunnings and Asahi Beverages, we’re proud to have donated over $100,000 to our charity partner, Fight MND. We can't wait to sport this year's beanies and continue to support the fight against MND. 'It's not what you say, it's what you do'.

Thank you for those that were able to join us in celebrating 2023 at an unforgettable end of year party. In addition to inspiring speeches from Professor Paul McMurrick from Let’s Beat Bowel Cancer and our Director, Leanne O’Connor, there were lip-syncing drag queens, politically incorrect bingo, dancing and prizes! We have achieved over $855,000 in charitable donations and we are on our March to a Million $ by 2025. You will hear more about this exciting initiative in 2024!
