An exciting contract opportunity is now available for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a large-scale digital transformation program focused on modernising middleware and integration platforms.
Working within an agile delivery squad, you’ll play a hands-on role designing and building adapters, interfaces, and messaging components that connect critical enterprise systems. This role suits a developer who enjoys solving complex integration challenges, working with modern cloud-native architectures, and collaborating across engineering, QA and DevOps teams.
This is: what you’ll do
- Design and develop high-quality .NET and C# solutions aligned to coding and architectural standards
- Build adapters and interfaces for enterprise messaging and integration platforms
- Develop and deploy microservices within Kubernetes environments
- Analyse system requirements and prioritise development tasks effectively
- Identify technical issues and implement fixes and enhancements
- Collaborate closely with QA teams during testing and defect resolution
- Partner with DevOps engineers to deploy and support production-ready applications
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives
This is: what you’ll need
- Strong commercial experience as a .NET Developer in enterprise environments
- Proficiency across C#, .NET, .NET Core
- Experience building RESTful APIs and web services
- Solid SQL skills and experience working with data-driven applications
- Exposure to microservices architecture and Kubernetes clusters
- Integration and messaging experience highly regarded
- Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
