This is a senior Test Manager role leading end-to-end testing across a large-scale digital transformation program focused on automated distribution centres and manufacturing environments. You’ll take ownership of testing strategy and delivery across a complex landscape of enterprise systems, warehouse automation, and infrastructure.
Working across multiple workstreams, vendors, and business stakeholders, you’ll ensure solutions are validated across functional and non-functional requirements. This includes integration between SAP platforms and advanced warehouse control systems, where precision, coordination, and governance are critical.
This is an 18–24 month contract based in Melbourne, with responsibility for building and executing the test strategy from the ground up and driving outcomes across a high-visibility, business-critical program.
This is: what you’ll do
- Develop and own the end-to-end Test Strategy and Test Plan across the program
- Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of all testing phases including SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing
- Coordinate testing across SAP systems, warehouse automation platforms, and integrated solutions
- Collaborate with vendors and system integrators to align testing approaches, timelines, and deliverables
- Oversee creation of test scenarios, scripts, and acceptance criteria across business and technical domains
- Manage defect tracking, remediation, and retesting processes to ensure quality outcomes
- Provide accurate reporting on test progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and governance forums
- Lead and mentor a team of test analysts, ensuring delivery against milestones and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with governance and audit requirements, including JSOX
- Act as the primary point of contact for all testing-related activities across the program
- 10+ years’ experience as a Test Manager across large-scale ERP or complex systems implementations
- Strong experience testing SAP environments, particularly EWM and TM
- Proven experience integrating SAP with third-party warehouse or automation systems
- Background in warehouse automation, supply chain, or logistics environments
- Deep understanding of end-to-end testing methodologies, governance, and best practices
- Experience managing complex integration landscapes and multi-vendor environments
- Hands-on experience with test management tools such as HP ALM
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and business teams
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as JSOX
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or similar
- Lead testing for a major enterprise transformation program
- Work across cutting-edge warehouse automation and SAP technologies
