This is a senior Technical Development Lead role driving end-to-end technical delivery across a large-scale digital transformation program. Based in Melbourne on a 12-month contract, you will take ownership of system development, integration, and technical design across a complex enterprise landscape.
You will operate at the centre of delivery, partnering with architects, functional leads, and external vendors to ensure solutions are aligned, scalable, and delivered to a high standard. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can balance technical depth with stakeholder engagement and governance across a multi-system environment.
This is: what you’ll do
- Lead end-to-end technical delivery across multiple enterprise applications and integrations
- Oversee system design, configuration, enhancements, and interface development
- Ensure alignment between functional requirements and technical build outcomes
- Manage development activities across internal teams and third-party vendors
- Drive integration delivery across SAP and connected platforms using APIs, EDI, and middleware
- Maintain design integrity and resolve technical issues across deployments
- Support testing cycles including SIT, UAT, and defect resolution
- Lead environment management, deployments, and release processes
- Engage in architecture and governance forums to ensure standards and security compliance
- Provide technical guidance to stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams
- Proven experience leading technical delivery within large-scale enterprise or transformation programs
- Strong SAP technical expertise, including S/4, EWM, and TM
- Hands-on development experience across SAP technologies such as ABAP, Fiori, PI/PO, BTP, IDocs, and APIs
- Strong understanding of integration patterns and interface management
- Experience managing vendors and ensuring high-quality code delivery
- Track record delivering across complex, multi-system environments
- Strong problem-solving capability with the ability to navigate technical complexity
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams
