This is a SAP Technical Development Lead role supporting a large-scale digital transformation across complex distribution and logistics environments.
Based in Melbourne, this 12-month contract plays a critical role in delivering enterprise-grade systems and integrations across multiple site deployments.
You will be responsible for end-to-end technical delivery, ensuring system builds, integrations, and configurations align with enterprise standards, approved architecture, and business capability requirements.
The role partners closely with Solution Architects, Functional Leads, Technical Product Owners, System Integrators, and vendors to maintain design, integrity and delivery momentum.

This is: what you’ll do
- Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of enterprise applications and integration solutions
- Own technical alignment across SAP ECC, S/4 EWM, TM and related logistics platforms
- Manage technical development activities delivered by internal teams and system integrators
- Oversee interface design, development and deployment across SAP, middleware, APIs and EDI
- Ensure technical designs align with enterprise architecture, security standards and governance
- Maintain design integrity across multi-site deployments and resolve technical constraints
- Support testing cycles, defect resolution, cutover planning and hypercare activities
- Manage environment strategy, transport and migration processes across the program
- Provide expert technical guidance to site IT teams and external vendors
This is: what you’ll need
- 5+ years’ experience leading technical delivery within large-scale enterprise programs
- Deep hands-on experience with SAP S/4 EWM and SAP TM
- Strong SAP technical development experience across ABAP, Fiori, PI/PO, BTP, IDocs and APIs
- Proven capability managing system integrators and third-party technical vendors
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, performance optimisation and environment management
- Experience delivering multi-site rollouts or transformation programs within complex environments
- Technically credible, structured, and able to translate business requirements into robust solutions
