This is a high-impact contract opportunity for an experienced SAP Supply Chain Planning Lead, to play a key role in a complex enterprise transformation program.
Based in Melbourne on a 12-month contract, you will take ownership of delivering end-to-end planning capabilities across demand, supply, distribution, and production planning.
Working within a large-scale digital program, you will lead solution design and delivery across SAP and integrated planning platforms, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, program teams, and third-party delivery partners. This role offers strong visibility, genuine ownership, and the opportunity to drive meaningful outcomes in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

This is: what you’ll do
- Lead the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP Supply Chain Planning solutions across key workstreams
- Drive alignment between business requirements and system functionality, ensuring fit-for-purpose outcomes
- Manage end-to-end solution delivery across SAP and integrated planning tools
- Collaborate with business SMEs, senior stakeholders, and delivery teams to shape solution direction
- Oversee third-party vendors and establish a strong one-team delivery approach
- Develop and track project plans, ensuring milestones are delivered on time and within scope
- Provide architectural input and ensure solutions align with broader digital strategy
- Ensure all key deliverables including functional specs, test scenarios, and handover documentation are completed to a high standard
- Support testing execution and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders
This is: what you’ll need
- 10 plus years experience in SAP Supply Chain Planning or similar enterprise planning environments
- Proven track record delivering end-to-end SAP planning implementations
- Strong expertise across Demand, Supply, Distribution Requirements Planning and Production Planning
- Experience integrating SAP with external planning tools such as IBP, Infor AS, or Excel-based solutions
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability across business and technology teams
- Experience leading vendors and external delivery partners in complex programs
- Solid understanding of software delivery lifecycles and testing processes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Lead a critical workstream within a large-scale transformation program
- High visibility role working closely with senior stakeholders and program leadership
