This is a 6-month contract, based in Melbourne, for a senior SAP Supply Chain Business Analyst supporting a complex enterprise divestment program. The role focuses on separating, redesigning, and transitioning supply chain processes, systems, and data into a defined future-state operating model.
You’ll sit at the centre of the program, working closely with stakeholders across Procurement, Purchasing, Warehousing, Planning, and Operations to maintain business continuity while SAP supply chain processes are carved out, stabilised, and prepared for ongoing delivery. This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable operating in ambiguity and large-scale transformation environments.
This is: what you’ll do
- Lead workshops to capture end-to-end supply chain business requirements
- Analyse current-state and design future-state supply chain processes
- Support the redesign of SAP supply chain workflows
- Translate business needs into clear SAP functional requirements
- Partner with delivery teams and system integrators to manage risks and dependencies
- Support SIT and UAT activities across supply chain workstreams
- Contribute to cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hypercare support
- Engage and influence stakeholders to drive alignment and decision-making
This is: what you’ll need
- Proven experience as a SAP Business Analyst in supply chain environments
- Strong, hands-on experience in SAP SD, LE , WM & MM
- In-depth understanding of international trade, export logistics, shipping, and compliance
- Experience in full lifecycle implementations, upgrades or business separation/carve-out projects
- Experience with SAP IDOCs, EDI, and interface management
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Working knowledge of tools such as Visio, Excel, Signavio, Service Now, JIRA and Confluence
