This role sits at the centre of a major payroll transformation, leading the final and most critical phase of delivery. You’ll take ownership of end-to-end cutover and transition into SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll, ensuring a controlled, low risk move from legacy platforms into a live, operational environment.
Working across a complex, enterprise-scale program, you’ll coordinate multiple vendors, business units, and technical teams to drive readiness, execution, and go-live decision making. Success in this role means delivering a seamless transition into production, establishing a stable hypercare period, and setting the business up for long-term success.
This is a 3-month contract based in Melbourne, focused on cutover execution, go-live coordination, and transition to BAU.
This is: what you’ll do
- Lead the end-to-end cutover strategy, plan, and runbook across all program workstreams
- Own cutover governance, sequencing, dependencies, and go or no-go recommendations
- Coordinate business and technical readiness activities for go-live
- Manage final data migration, deployment, reconciliation, and sign-off activities
- Oversee defect, risk, and issue management impacting go-live readiness
- Drive alignment across system integrators, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Lead hypercare mobilisation and transition into BAU operations
- Establish support governance, escalation pathways, and exit criteria
- Deliver clear, executive-level reporting on readiness, risks, and decisions
- Proven experience leading cutover and transition for large-scale SAP or ERP programs
- Strong background in SAP SuccessFactors, ideally Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-vendor go-live environments
- Expertise in data migration, deployment coordination, and production readiness
- Strong understanding of governance, risk, and dependency management
- Experience delivering in environments where payroll continuity is critical
- Ability to operate with ownership, make decisions, and drive outcomes under pressure
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across business and IT
- Lead a critical go-live phase on a high-profile enterprise transformation
