This 6-month contract will see you take ownership of SAP Security operations within a complex enterprise SAP landscape. You will provide specialist capability across BAU access administration while contributing to a broader uplift of SAP security governance, controls, and maturity.
You will ensure access provisioning, Segregation of Duties checks, privileged access governance, and risk controls remain compliant, audit ready, and timely. In parallel, you will help refine role design standards, strengthen access governance processes, and support incremental GRC improvement initiatives.
This role suits an experienced SAP Security Consultant, who can balance hands on execution with structured governance, operate independently, and bring a pragmatic approach to continuous improvement.
This is: what you’ll do
- Validate and approve SAP IT access requests across multiple SAP environments
- Maintain and refine SAP role catalogues, access design standards, and privileged access frameworks
- Perform periodic conflict reviews and sensitive access validations, supporting remediation activities
- Assist with SAP JSOX and SOX controls relating to SAP security and access governance
- Conduct Technical FFID reviews, document usage logs, and escalate exceptions
- Maintain compliance across privileged access processes in line with audit expectations
- Provide hands on SAP security expertise across project and change initiatives
- Review and validate security components of SAP change requests, ensuring architectural and audit alignment
- Identify automation opportunities across provisioning, SoD analysis, FFID review, and compliance reporting
- Communicate security decisions and risk positions clearly to senior stakeholders
This is: what you’ll need
- 7+ years hands on SAP Security experience across ECC, S/4HANA, GRC, and CUA
- Strong understanding of JSOX, SOX, or controls based audit environments
- Proven experience performing BAU access administration, SoD analysis, and FFID governance
- Exposure to SAP security modernisation initiatives including GRC uplift, role redesign, or automation
- Experience supporting SAP program delivery from a security and controls perspective
- Background large scale 24x7 operational environments
- Strong analytical capability with a structured approach to risk evaluation
- Ability to simplify complex access scenarios for business stakeholders
- Proven ability to operate independently in a fast paced delivery environment
- Pragmatic mindset balancing operational delivery with improvement activity
