An opportunity for an experienced SAP Logistics Lead to shape and deliver warehouse and logistics solutions within a major transformation program. You will lead solution teams and third-party logistics partners across SAP MM, SD and TM capabilities.
Working closely with business stakeholders, architecture, process, testing, data, cutover and operational teams, you will ensure the end-to-end solution supports strategic and operational objectives. This is a 6-month contract based in Melbourne, offering broad stakeholder exposure and meaningful delivery responsibility.
This is: what you'll do
- Lead the design, configuration and implementation of SAP logistics modules and integrations with third-party logistics providers.
- Translate business requirements into effective system designs and functional specifications.
- Develop and manage delivery plans, milestones, scope and status reporting.
- Collaborate with business SMEs, senior leaders, digital delivery teams and external partners.
- Drive alignment between SAP functionality, operational requirements and business objectives.
- Review solution designs and provide guidance before transition into support.
- Manage key vendor and third-party logistics relationships using a one-team approach.
- Oversee the production and approval of requirements, specifications, test assets and support documentation.
- Support testing teams by communicating progress, results, risks and delivery challenges.
- Build strong working relationships across technology, business and partner teams.
- Extensive warehouse and logistics experience within an SAP environment.
- A strong track record delivering successful SAP implementations.
- Deep knowledge of SAP MM, SD and TM modules.
- Experience integrating SAP solutions with third-party logistics providers.
- An understanding of software development and enterprise delivery lifecycles.
- Strong requirements management and functional specification capabilities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to communicate clearly with technical, operational and senior business stakeholders.
- Knowledge of compliance, audit and JSOX requirements.
- Manufacturing or FMCG experience will be highly regarded.
- Relevant SAP certification and project management credentials are desirable.

- Influence end-to-end solutions spanning warehouse operations, transport and third-party logistics.
