Were seeking an experienced SAP Logistics Lead, for a Melbourne based, 12-month contract, leading the design and delivery of SAP logistics and warehouse capabilities across a large-scale program.
You’ll take ownership of end-to-end solutions spanning SAP MM, SD, and WM working across business and digital teams to ensure alignment between technology and operational outcomes.
Operating within a complex, multi-stream environment, you’ll partner closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to shape solutions that are practical, scalable, and fit for purpose. Success in this role is defined by your ability to lead from the front bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to a critical logistics function.
This is: what you’ll do
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MM, SD, WM and TM solutions
- Collaborate with business SMEs, stakeholders, and 3PL providers to align solutions with operational needs
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system designs
- Oversee end-to-end delivery, ensuring milestones and scope are met
- Provide architectural input and governance across logistics and warehouse solutions
- Manage vendor relationships, particularly across third-party logistics partners
- Ensure all deliverables are documented, approved, and aligned to governance standards
- Partner with testing teams to track progress, risks, and outcomes across SIT/UAT phases
This is: what you’ll need
- 10+ years’ experience delivering SAP logistics and warehouse solutions
- Strong expertise across SAP MM, SD, and WM modules
- Proven track record leading SAP implementations within complex environments
- Experience working with 3PL providers and integrating external logistics partners
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability across business and technology teams
- Ability to define and document clear, structured functional specifications
- Solid understanding of delivery lifecycles, testing phases, and integration points
- SAP certification (MM, SD, WM) and project management qualifications highly regarded
