Our client requires an SAP Integration Lead, for a 6 month, Melbourne based role to support a key transformation program. You’ll take ownership of integration strategy, delivery, and operations across a complex SAP centric environment, ensuring seamless connectivity across platforms and systems.
You’ll lead the integration product from both a strategic and operational perspective, including shaping integration patterns, driving API-led architecture, and overseeing delivery. It’s a hands-on leadership role with real impact across business critical systems, where you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic execution and operational delivery of integration platforms across the enterprise.
This role requires deep integration knowledge of complex SAP landscapes and leverages SAP Integration Suite, PI/PO, CPI and Mulesoft to ensure seamless enterprise connectivity.

- Define and drive integration strategy aligned to enterprise architecture and digital transformation goals
- Lead end-to-end integration lifecycle including design, development, deployment, and monitoring
- Establish and promote API-led connectivity and reusable integration patterns
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog to ensure delivery of high-value outcomes
- Oversee managed service vendors, ensuring strong governance and service delivery
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to align on integration needs
- Ensure robust monitoring, logging, and error handling across integration platforms
- Maintain platform currency, including version control, patching, and roadmap planning
- Drive compliance with security, governance, and enterprise standards
- Support continuous improvement across integration services and operating models
This is: what you’ll need
- Extensive experience across SAP integration platforms including SAP Integration Suite, CPI, and PI/PO
- Strong understanding of SAP landscapes including ECC and S/4HANA
- Deep knowledge of integration concepts including APIs, IDocs, BAPIs, oData, and middleware
- Proven experience leading integration initiatives within complex, enterprise environments
- Experience managing vendors and establishing governance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
- Demonstrated experience in transformation and change programs
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership capability
