This leadership role sits at the centre of a large enterprise HR and Payroll landscape, where you will guide the functional direction of SAP SuccessFactors and associated HCM systems. You will shape how core HR technology supports the workforce, lifting service capability, streamlining processes, and strengthening system integrity across a complex environment.
You will lead a functional support team while driving enhancements, improvements, and quality outcomes across SuccessFactors, Payroll, and connected platforms. The role is hands on and influential, blending functional depth with stakeholder leadership as you work closely with HR, Payroll, Shared Services, technology teams, and external partners.

This is: what you’ll do
- Lead BAU support for HR and Payroll systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues and high quality service
- Oversee the delivery of scalable and efficient solutions that maintain strong system controls
- Manage functional documentation including requirements, specifications, and design materials
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce configuration defects and improve operational capability
- Coordinate unit testing and system integration testing across SuccessFactors modules
- Act as Functional Lead for the implementation of SuccessFactors EC and ECP, including integration across the HCM landscape
- Partner with technical teams to translate business needs into robust system functionality
- Support change requests, enhancement work, and annual patching cycle
- Analyse current and future state HR and Payroll processes to support informed solution design
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, IT, Shared Services, and external vendors
- 5 to 10 years experience across SAP HCM and Payroll with strong functional capability
- Certification in SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Payroll
- Demonstrated experience delivering system implementations and managing production support
- Strong understanding of patching, upgrades, testing, and product lifecycle management
- Experience creating functional specifications, process documentation, and solution designs
- Familiarity with tools such as SAP BTP, Kronos (UKG), Spinifex, or similar platforms
- Ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into effective system outcomes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and work across varied stakeholder groups
- A continuous improvement mindset with the confidence to drive change in a complex environment
