An opportunity for an experienced SAP Finance Consultant to join a complex enterprise technology environment on an initial 6-month contract.
You’ll work across SAP S/4HANA Finance, providing hands-on functional expertise while delivering enhancements, supporting projects and helping shape scalable, integrated finance solutions. The role has a strong focus on SAP Finance, OpenText VIM and indirect procurement, with significant interaction across the broader SAP and application landscape.
This will suit a senior SAP Finance specialist who is equally comfortable getting into configuration and testing, working through complex requirements and partnering with business and technology stakeholders.
This is: what you'll do
- Deliver functional and cross-functional expertise across SAP Finance, OpenText VIM and indirect procurement
- Configure and maintain SAP Finance components and contribute to testing activities
- Drive enhancements across the SAP Finance solution landscape
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse and document functional requirements
- Support SAP projects across scoping, estimation, blueprinting and implementation
- Design solutions that integrate effectively across SAP modules and third-party platforms
- Develop functional specifications and work with technical teams through configuration, testing and implementation
- Drive process improvement and standardisation across finance-related business processes
- Support documentation, governance, change management, security and quality standards
- 7+ years of SAP functional experience
- At least three full SAP implementation lifecycles
- Strong SAP S/4HANA Finance experience, including Fiori-based functionality
- Broad expertise across GL, AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, Project Systems, Inventory Accounting, Tax, Controlling, CO-PA, Cost Centre Accounting and Profit Centre Accounting
- Hands-on experience with OpenText VIM or equivalent
- Strong experience with indirect procurement for non-stock purchasing and services
- Experience with Delegations of Authority workflow rules, SAP Flexible Workflow and invoice approvals
- Integration experience across SAP S/4HANA, OpenText VIM, SuccessFactors, Ariba and related platforms
- Strong configuration, requirements gathering, process re-engineering and functional specification skills
- Excellent stakeholder communication, analytical and problem-solving capability
