We’re seeking an experienced SAP Cutover Manager to own and deliver the transition from legacy systems into a new SAP environment. This is a high visibility role within a large-scale enterprise program where precision, coordination, and leadership will be essential.
This is an initial 6-month contract, where you will sit at the centre of the cutover strategy, aligning business, functional, and technical teams to ensure readiness, minimise risk, and deliver a controlled, confident transition.
This is: what you’ll do
- Develop and own the end-to-end SAP cutover strategy, plan, and execution roadmap
- Define timelines, dependencies, resource plans, and critical path activities
- Lead cross-functional teams through all cutover activities including data migration and environment readiness
- Coordinate system validations, interface checks, and technical readiness activities
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect go-live timelines
- Run mock cutovers and rehearsals to validate readiness and resolve gaps
- Provide structured status reporting to senior stakeholders throughout the cutover phase
- Oversee go-live execution and drive rapid issue resolution
- Facilitate post-cutover reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
This is: what you’ll need
- Proven experience leading cutover activities across large-scale SAP implementations
- Strong understanding of SAP environments, modules, and end-to-end processes
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute detailed cutover plans in complex programs
- Experience coordinating data migration, system readiness, and integration validation
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Calm, structured leadership style suited to high-pressure go-live environments
- 5+ years’ experience in SAP programs, with 3+ years focused on cutover management
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
- Exposure to SAP Hybris or Commerce Cloud is beneficial
- Relevant SAP or project management certifications are advantageous
