An exciting 5-month daily rate contract opportunity is available for an experienced SAP Commerce Cloud Engineer to join a fast-paced digital program delivering a brand-new eCommerce website for a well-known Australian retail organisation.
This role will play a critical part in launching a new brand, working within a cross-functional squad across architecture, front-end, SAP back-end and integration teams. With a targeted go-live in June, you’ll be hands-on across configuration, integration, defect triage and platform optimisation within SAP Commerce Cloud.
This is: what you’ll do
- Complete SAP Commerce Cloud configuration and set-up for a new brand launch
- Extend existing OCC integrations and develop new APIs where required
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Front-End (React/Node/Ionic) teams, BAs and Product specialists
- Coordinate with existing SAP Commerce squads across development, testing and release cycles
- Facilitate SAP CC deployment and change processes
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and broader project cadences
- Lead defect triage and troubleshooting across SAP Commerce Cloud
- Identify risks and blockers early, proposing practical solutions
- Provide SME-level guidance across the SAP Commerce platform
This is: what you’ll need
- Proven hands-on experience configuring and implementing SAP Commerce Cloud
- Experience supporting multi-domain / multi-brand environments on a single SAP CC platform
- Strong integration experience across SAP ecosystems (ECC, S/4, CAR and related components)
- Solid understanding of product catalogues, product modelling and indexing
- Experience with SOLR search configuration
- Knowledge of Cart, Checkout, Vouchers, Favourites, Pricing & Promotions
- Experience across payments, fulfilment, shipping, stock & inventory, orders, returns and refunds
- Exposure to marketing feeds and commerce integrations
- Strong troubleshooting capability with proven defect triage experience
- Ability to work at pace within tight delivery timeframes
