We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, for a 6-month contract opportunity to lead critical finance initiatives within a complex SAP project enterprise environment.
This role will oversee a portfolio of finance projects, including the implementation of a new product that carries significant financial, compliance, and reporting impact. Operating in a complex regulatory landscape, you will ensure delivery aligns with governance standards, audit requirements, and strict control frameworks.
This position requires strong structure, disciplined execution, and the ability to navigate layered stakeholder environments.
This is: what you’ll do
- Lead end-to-end delivery of finance initiatives within a fast-paced SAP Project environment
- Manage implementation of a new product with significant financial and compliance impact
- Oversee scope, budget, timelines, risks, and interdependencies across multiple workstreams
- Ensure alignment with regulatory obligations, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Partner with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Product, and Technology stakeholders
- Establish robust governance frameworks, steering updates, and executive reporting
- Drive risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution
- Support change management, business readiness, and post-implementation stabilisation
- Manage project from inception through to delivery
This is: what you’ll need
- Proven experience delivering finance transformation projects in complex, highly regulated SAP project environments
- Experience implementing new products or capabilities within strict governance frameworks
- Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and reporting standards
- Experience with ERP or finance systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or similar platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Technology
- Strong risk management discipline and familiarity with audit processes
- Clear, confident communication style with the ability to operate at executive level
