This is: the job

An exciting opportunity awaits for an IT Payroll Systems Administrator to join a dynamic and collaborative environment. This role is embedded within the Payroll team and plays a pivotal part in ensuring the efficient operation, compliance, and optimisation of enterprise payroll systems — specifically iCHRIS and Kronos.
Reporting to the Head of IT (Oceania), you'll support BAU operations and lead technical payroll initiatives across configuration, automation, system integration, and vendor engagement. This is a highly autonomous role, ideal for someone who combines technical depth with operational understanding.

This is: what you’ll do

  • Manage configuration, maintenance and optimisation of iCHRIS and Kronos systems
  • Deliver end-to-end technical solutions including integrations, automation, and compliance updates
  • Lead vendor and stakeholder engagement across system upgrades, SLAs, and issue resolution
  • Perform audits, reconciliations, and data validation to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
  • Design and support user access protocols, role management, and escalation workflows
  • Contribute to roadmap planning, cost estimation, and prioritisation of enhancements vs. service needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and enable process improvement
  • Provide training, support, and documentation for payroll system users

This is: what you’ll need
  • 10+ years' experience in payroll systems, HRIS administration or payroll technology management
  • Strong technical proficiency in iCHRIS; experience with Kronos or UKG PRO Workforce Management highly regarded
  • Deep understanding of payroll compliance, tax laws, and reporting requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver system configuration, automation, and integration projects
  • Experience managing vendors and delivering system-related support in complex environments
  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive and driven by continuous improvement

This is: the perks
  • Lead payroll systems optimisation across two countries
  • High-ownership role embedded in the business with broad technical scope
  • Work across both BAU and strategic project streams
  • Flexible working and collaborative team culture
