This is: the job
We’re on the hunt for a true iCHRIS specialist to join a large enterprise payroll environment in a technically hands-on and system-focused role.
This isn’t a business analyst or process owner role — the client has made it clear: they need someone who lives and breathes iCHRIS. You’ll be the go-to technical owner across configuration, optimisation, troubleshooting and integration of iCHRIS and Kronos platforms, working closely with vendors, internal stakeholders and the payroll delivery team.
This is: what you’ll do
- Take full technical ownership of iCHRIS configuration, optimisation, and administration
- Perform audits, reconciliations, and system validation to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate payroll system upgrades, fixes, and roadmaps
- Develop and implement integration and automation between systems (including Kronos and third-party platforms)
- Provide technical support, testing, and troubleshooting across payroll applications
- Lead system access management, user provisioning, and control audits
- Deliver technical documentation, training, and guidance to users and support teams
- Stay ahead of payroll regulation changes and proactively manage system updates
- Deep hands-on experience with iCHRIS configuration, technical troubleshooting, and system management
- Specific experience configuring iCHRIS leave groups, pay codes, custom forms, and templates
- Experience configuring UKG WFM PRO including business structure, complex pay rules, pay codes, work rules, labour categories, and organisational sets
- Preferred experience integrating iCHRIS with UKG WFM PRO
- 10+ years in payroll systems admin, HRIS admin, or technical payroll roles
- Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- Preferred exposure to SAP, SuccessFactors, and ServiceNow
- Proficiency across data audits, automation, and system integrity checks
- Strong vendor coordination skills and experience driving third-party performance
- Analytical mindset with a detail-oriented approach to data accuracy
- Excellent documentation, troubleshooting, and cross-team communication skills
- Join a global organisation with enterprise-scale payroll operations
- Take full ownership of technical systems within a collaborative environment
- Flexible and remote work model
- Long-term permanent opportunity with scope to shape system enhancements
