Join a large-scale payroll transformation that’s redefining how enterprise payroll operates. You’ll play a key role consolidating legacy systems onto SAP SuccessFactors ECP, ensuring delivery integrity across design, build, testing, and transition.
This is a high-impact position for a hands-on functional lead who thrives in complex programs, working closely with SMEs, system integrators, and project leaders to ensure quality outcomes across Australia and New Zealand.
You’ll be based in Melbourne and engaged on a 9-month contract, working as part of a collaborative program team committed to getting payroll right — the first time.
This is: what you’ll do
- Lead functional delivery of payroll requirements across design, build, and testing phases.
- Drive the consolidation of legacy payroll systems into SAP SuccessFactors ECP.
- Partner with business SMEs and the SI to uphold solution integrity and delivery quality.
- Review and challenge solution designs, configuration workbooks, and data mappings.
- Own payroll requirements documentation, acceptance criteria, and traceability.
- Write and execute detailed test cases for SIT and support UAT execution.
- Manage parallel payroll testing, reconciliations, and defect resolution.
- Oversee data migration validation, transformation rules, and data quality thresholds.
- Contribute to cutover readiness, go-live, and post-implementation hypercare.
- Prepare transition documentation including runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge transfer.
This is: what you’ll need
- 8+ years’ experience in SAP Payroll, including at least two full SuccessFactors ECP implementations.
- Deep understanding of ECP schemas, rules, PCRs, off-cycle and retro processing, and AU/NZ payroll legislation.
- Strong integration knowledge across EC?ECP, Time, Finance, Banking, Tax, and Super.
- Hands-on experience with SIT/UAT cycles, defect triage, cutover, and hypercare.
- Familiarity with tools such as ALM, MS Office, and Visio.
- Excellent documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Collaborative and outcome-focused approach, with high attention to detail.
