This is a high-impact 12-month contract opportunity, for an experienced Digital Project Manager to lead the delivery of end-of-line automation technology across multiple manufacturing sites. You will be embedded within a major enterprise digital transformation program focused on integrating IT applications and infrastructure into operational environments.
You will play a critical role in delivering complex, cross-functional technology streams across design, build, integration, testing, and deployment. Working closely with supply chain, operations, and digital teams, this role offers strong visibility, significant ownership, and the chance to drive real operational outcomes across multiple sites.
This is: what you'll do
- Lead end-to-end delivery of digital applications and infrastructure across project lifecycle phases
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes
- Deliver integration of automation technologies with enterprise systems in manufacturing environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across digital, supply chain, and operations teams
- Coordinate vendors and system integrators to ensure alignment and effective delivery
- Drive testing, assurance, deployment, and transition to BAU support
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear communication for stakeholders at all levels
- Oversee documentation including project plans, reports, and governance artefacts
- Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making across competing priorities
- Support business readiness and change activities to enable successful adoption
- Proven experience delivering complex IT or digital projects within manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain environments
- Strong project management capability across scope, budget, schedule, and risk management
- Experience integrating automation technologies with enterprise applications
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and system integrators
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and business audiences
- Experience working within structured program governance frameworks
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and project delivery tools
- Relevant qualifications in IT, Engineering, Business, or Project Management (certifications such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK highly regarded)
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments
