An exciting opportunity is available for a Dayforce HCM Administrator to join a major transformation program focused on the implementation of a new Dayforce platform. This role offers the chance to work across the full implementation lifecycle, partnering closely with HR, Payroll, Operations, IT, and external implementation specialists.
You'll play a hands-on role supporting system configuration, process improvement, testing, training, and project delivery activities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business and technology while contributing to a large-scale HCM transformation.
Based in Melbourne, this role offers strong long-term potential, with a view to transitioning into a permanent Dayforce Administration and Support position following successful deployment.
This is: what you'll do
- Support the Dayforce implementation program across configuration, data validation, and solution documentation activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and map current and future state business processes
- Develop and maintain project artefacts including process maps, configuration registers, and business procedures
- Execute system, integration, payroll, and user acceptance testing activities
- Prepare test data, document outcomes, manage defects, and coordinate retesting activities
- Validate business requirements and ensure system functionality aligns with operational needs
- Assist with training development including user guides, learning materials, and communications
- Coordinate workshops and support change management activities across the business
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Operations, IT teams, and implementation vendors to support project delivery
- Support the transition from implementation into ongoing system administration and user support
- Experience supporting HCM, HRIS, Payroll, or Workforce Management systems
- Exposure to Dayforce, Ceridian, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Chris21, or similar platforms
- Strong testing experience including system, integration, payroll, and UAT activities
- Ability to create process documentation, procedures, and training materials
- Experience managing defects, issue resolution, and validation activities
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical capability
- Experience working within technology-enabled transformation projects
- Ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams
