An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Dayforce Business Analyst to play a key role in a major enterprise HR and payroll transformation. Working as part of a high-profile implementation program, you will lead business analysis activities, support project delivery, and ensure Dayforce is successfully embedded across the organisation.
This is a 12-month contract based in Melbourne, which will see you partnering with senior stakeholders, implementation partners, and project teams to design future-state processes, drive business readiness, and support a seamless transition to Dayforce.
You will be instrumental in ensuring business requirements are translated into practical solutions that support payroll, workforce management, compliance, and broader people operations outcomes.
This is: what you'll do
- Lead business requirements gathering activities across HR, payroll, workforce management, and related business functions
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to define future-state processes and operational requirements
- Validate solution designs and ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance obligations
- Drive issue resolution, risk management, and deployment readiness activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Design and oversee testing strategies, frameworks, and detailed test plans
- Coordinate and support user acceptance testing to ensure requirements are fully validated
- Lead training planning and delivery activities to support end-user adoption
- Drive change management initiatives, stakeholder communications, and business readiness programs
- Collaborate closely with implementation partners, project teams, and business leaders to achieve delivery outcomes
- Act as the key liaison between business and project stakeholders throughout the Dayforce implementation
- Demonstrated experience delivering Dayforce implementation or optimisation projects
- Strong business analysis experience within HRIS, payroll, workforce management, or HCM environments
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops and gather complex business requirements
- Experience developing testing strategies, test plans, and coordinating test execution
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across multiple business levels
- Exposure to change management, training, and business readiness activities
- Experience working within large-scale transformation or enterprise technology programs
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and project coordination capabilities
