This is a senior leadership opportunity focused on creation and successful delivery of a technology roadmap within a well-known private company in Abbotsford. Reporting to the COO, the CTO role will take accountability for ensuring technology initiatives are delivered in alignment with business strategic priorities.
You will work closely with executive stakeholders and business leaders to shape, sequence and execute a multi-year pipeline of initiatives across a core platform, digital capabilities and data solutions. The role is critical in ensuring technology remains practical, commercially aligned and consistently delivering measurable outcomes across the organisation.
This is a both a hands-on and strategic leadership position where stakeholder engagement, delivery discipline and clear roadmap execution are central to success.
- Lead the delivery of the enterprise technology roadmap aligned to business priorities
- Partner with executive stakeholders to prioritise and sequence technology initiatives
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of programs across platforms, applications and data
- Manage technology investment planning, ensuring clear alignment to outcomes and value
- Collaborate with business units to translate operational needs into actionable delivery plans
- Drive best practice software development, methodologies, processes and technology.
- Ensure delivery milestones are achieved within agreed timelines and budgets
- Strengthen communication between technology and business stakeholders at all levels
- Build a disciplined, outcome-focused technology delivery function
This is: what you’ll need
- Proven experience delivering enterprise technology roadmaps
- Strong background managing program delivery across multiple streams
- Demonstrated success engaging and influencing executive and operational stakeholders
- Commercial acumen with the ability to prioritise initiatives based on business value
- Familiarity with modern software development tools, methodologies, processes and technologies.
- Experience implementing AI-assisted software development tools and modern engineering productivity practices.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, operationally complex environments
- Excellent communication, planning and stakeholder engagement skills
- High-impact role with ownership of enterprise technology delivery
